One Piece has always been a favorite among teens or younger. What I consider the ‘X Factor’ in One Piece is the fact that it is a series that is based in a totally new world. Example, One piece is in the ‘pirate age’ where when mentioned, most would imagine a gruffy bearded man with a parrot on his shoulder, a hook for a hand, etc. But no, One Piece has been proved time and again to be unique and unpredictable, with a good sense of humour as seen in revealing the identity of Duval (Who turned out to be the face of Sanji in the wanted poster). Or, how there could be such ‘unthinkable’ and ‘creative’ things like Skypiea, Bubble Carriers, Rides, etc in the Archipelog. To sum it up, One Piece is something you can relate to, seeing how Luffy is striving to be stronger, in order to protect his ‘Nakama’ (Friends, Mates).

It takes a creative and unique artist to produce One Piece. And who knows, once One Piece is done, maybe another series was undergoing production in the background before One piece ended and is released, being another big hit. Two Piece maybe? Nah.
